We accept payments from all major debit cards and credit cards as well as direct EFT. All transactions are securely processed on our server via PayFast using a verified SSL certificate ensuring that all data provided is encrypted. Haya Collective does not store any debit/credit card information.

How long will my order take to reach me?

At Haya Collective, we are a made-to-order studio. For every order that you place with us, our team cuts and creates your garment especially for you.

You will notice that every item listed on our site has a note indicating the delivery lead time. Orders require 7 – 14 working days to be crafted, from the day after you have placed your order. We handcut each garment to your order specifications and meticulously stitch it before it goes through quality checks. Once your garment is ready to be shipped to you, we package it in our signature HC packaging and send it off with our trusted courier partners.

As soon as your order leaves our studio, we provide you with a tracking code. This tracking code is a reference for you to trace your package along its journey to you. Delivery time is dependent on your location.

South Africa

We offer FREE shipping on ALL orders over R500 to any address in South Africa

Orders below R500 have a flat rate of R60 for delivery to any address in South Africa.

All South African orders are shipped using Globeflight or Aramex couriers. This is a registered freight service, where you are able to track your order online. You will be required to sign for delivery, we therefore recommend that you provide a daytime address where someone will be able to sign between 9am and 5pm. Please note that we do not deliver to PO BOX addresses.

Delivery usually takes between 1-5 working days for items in stock that are shipped immediately, or up to 10 – 14 days from date of purchase. The reason for the longer than usual delivery time is due to some of our products being handcrafted on a made-to-order basis. Delivery time is also dependent on your location.

Rest of World

Shipping rates to global addresses depend on your location. Once a shipping address is entered in as checkout, the rate is calculated.

As a general rule, International Standard delivery takes 1-3 weeks, or in certain instances, up to 5 weeks. Please feel free to drop us a message if you have any queries regarding international delivery. We utilise a registered freight service, where you are able to track your order online.

Shipping rates may not include possible taxes and duties which could be applied by customs in the country where the order originated. The responsibility for any custom duties, foreign taxes or other fees which may be imposed will rest with the customer. To comply with South African export regulations, we are required to declare the exact value of all product(s) ordered and to mark them as dutiable “merchandise:. We are also prohibited by law from marking the order as a “gift”, even if order is placed with the intention of sending to a gift recipient. For further information, it may be necessary to call your local customs offices to gain further details. Please note that we do not deliver to PO BOX addresses.

Please note that we cannot ship any fragile homeware items to other countries besides South Africa as we cannot guarantee the safe arrival of fragile goods (such as glassware and frames).

In the interests of hygiene, we have a strict no returns/exchange policy on scarves.

Accessories & Jewelry

Kindly refer to our returns policy. There are stringent quality checks in place to ensure that all items are checked for defects and only items in perfect condition are sent.  We ensure correct packaging is used for the protection of items during shipping. Should any manufacturing defects be detected, we will we will gladly exchange, replace or refund your purchase – provided that the product has not been damaged as a result of excessive wear/usage, negligence, tampering, impact, or misuse of general cleaning and care instructions.


Unfortunately due to the made-to-order nature of our products, we are unable to offer any exchanges or refunds on any homeware order. There are stringent quality checks in place to ensure that all orders are screened for defects and only items in perfect condition are sent.

Returning items you are dissatisfied with:

In the unlikely case you are not fully satisfied with your purchase, then subject to the terms set out in this Delivery and Returns policy, we will ensure that you obtain a Haya Collective credit note of equal value. Store credit is non-transferable. Cash refunds are not applicable.

If you have purchased product(s) from the website and it’s not what you expected, you may return full price merchandise by informing us within four (4) days of receiving your order for a credit note of equal value (excluding shipping and handing charges).

Please keep in mind that Haya Collective cannot accept the returned product(s) and cannot give a refund if:

(a) the return falls outside of the stated four (4) day notification period;

(b) the product(s) has been personalized or custom-made;

(c) the product(s) tag is removed, worn, damaged or not in its original packaging;

(d) the products are on sale or marked-down.

(e) the returning items do not reach us within 14 working days (South Africa) and 30 working days (international).

Returning damaged or defective products:

At Haya Collective, we pride ourselves on quality. We thoroughly test all our garments to ensure they are fully capable of standing up to the uses for which they were designed. It is extremely rare for our products to be damaged or defective.

Returned product(s) (and associated shipping and handling charges at standard rates, up to the amount of R60) will be refunded if the damage is the result of manufacturing defect or deviation from factory specifications, and not the result of normal wear and tear. In such cases, please allow two weeks from the day you return your package for your account to be credited.

If the problem was caused by reasons other than material quality or assembly process, the original product will be returned to you.

We do not refund products:

(a) obtained from a source other than this website;
(b) damaged by abuse or negligence (exposure to chemicals, caustic substances, open flame, high heat, sharp objects, etc);
(c) damaged by misuse or activities other than the intended purpose;
(d) returned outside of the 14 day returns period for South Africa;
(e) returned outside of the 30 day returns period for International.

Return Instructions:
To return a product, please follow the instructions below:

(a) Within four (4) days of receiving your order, drop us a line at orders@hayacollective.com. In your email, please include:
(i) Reasons for why you are returning the product(s); and
(ii) Attach a copy of the payment confirmation you received when placing the order

(b) Pack the product(s) into their original packaging including the original and attached labels/ swingtags in the case of clothing items.

(c) Address the package to Haya Collective. We will email you the return address and contact details

(d) As Haya Collective is not liable for the loss of any product being returned we highly recommend that you return it using registered mail. Haya Collective is not responsible for shipping costs on returned product(s)

Returning personalized and custom-made products

Please understand we are unable to accept returns or exchange product(s) that have undergone customization or personalization, unless they have been found faulty after detailed examination by Haya Collective. We ask that you chose your personalization and customisation details carefully, and retain a copy of your confirmation notice for future reference. If it is found that we have incorrectly personalized or customized your product(s) contrary to your instruction and the confirmation notice, we will gladly replace them.

Discount codes may from time to time be offered to customers.  Such codes may be applied to purchases made through the account in respect of which the discount code was offered and registered. Discount codes must be used at checkout in order to qualify. One discount code can be applied per purchase.
